Shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 43-year-old Terrence Mulrooney was stopped by an Orangetown police officer in Nyack for a vehicle and traffic violation. During the subsequent stop, officers said that it was determined that Mulrooney was in possession of marijuana, heroin and a pill alleged to be a controlled substance.
Mulrooney was placed under arrest and charged with a misdemeanor count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. He posted bail and is due back in Nyack Justice Court on Thursday, April 20.
