Aggravated DWI In Orangetown Lands Pearl River Man In Jail, Police Say

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- A 49-year-old Pearl River man was charged with driving while intoxicated in Orangetown last week. 

Orangetown Police arrested Eugene O'Callaghan, 49, of Pearl River, for Aggravated DWI.

On Dec. 12, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Orangetown Police Department charged Eugene O'Callaghan, 49, of Pearl River, for aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor, police said.

O'Callaghan was stopped for a traffic violation while operating a 2002 Volkswagen, police said.

He was processed and released pending a 6 p.m., Jan.  27 Orangetown Court date.
