ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- William Patrick McAllister, 93, of Pearl River, formerly of Riverdale, died Tuesday, Dec. 8.
He was born in Manhattan to James W. McAllister, Sr. and Julia Merworth McAllister.
He was a World War II decorated combat veteran.
McAllister is survived by his nephews, James M. and William J.; and niece Marie Berkery.
He was predeceased by his brothers; Thomas, John, Joseph, James and James W., and sisters; Gertrude, Julia and Florence.
Visitation is from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Aedan Church, Pearl River. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
