PEARL RIVER, N.Y. -- Michael J. O'Hare, 72, of Pearl River, died June 8, 2016.
Born July 23, 1943, in Manchester, England, he graduated from The University of Notre Dame with a doctorate in chemistry.
He worked as a chemist for 37 years. He enjoyed playing golf and traveling.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Aroonsri Anavil; his children, Jennifer Maddox and Chris O'Hare; grandchildren, Conner and Dyla; and siblings, Hugh O'Hare, Jeanette DiCarlo and Eileen DeFalco.
A memorial service will be conducted from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Assumma-Shankey Funeral Home, 34 N. Summit Street Pearl River.
