ORANGETOWN, N.Y. – Letty I. Kroner, of Orangetown, died Sunday, June 12. She was 83.
Born June 20, 1932, in Manhattan, to Goldie and Irving Israel, she was a member of the inaugural female class at the prestigious, all-male Bronx High School of Science. She was married to her husband, Herb, for 64 years.
In addition to Herb, she is survived by her children, Gregg (JoAnn), Ilene (Mitchell) and Evan (Wendy); grandchildren, Rachel Kroner, Sandra Colesanti (Michael), Robert Singer, Julie Singer and Jessica Kroner; nephews David (Elena) and Jonathan Kroner; and great-nephew, Michael Kroner.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Beth Am Temple, 60 E. Madison Ave., Pearl River. Burial will be private. Shiva will be observed from 3-9 p.m. beginning Tuesday and will continue through Sunday, June 26 at the Kroner Home, 26 Jill Drive, West Nyack.
