PEARL RIVER, N.Y. -- Hyland, Victoria M., of Pearl River, died on Sunday, Dec. 11. She was 60.
Hyland was a former 2nd Grade Detective with the NYPD . She retired in 2000 after 20 years of service. She was born July 25, 1956 in New York City to Gene and Louise Myers.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Hyland; son, Matthew; step children, Brian, Alison Gay and James Hyland; five grandchildren, Jack, Rory, Shane, Desmond and Vivian.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Aedan R. C. Church, Pearl River. Burial to follow at Frederick Loescher Veterans Cemetery, New Hempstead. Visiting is Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc., 100 Franklin Ave., Pearl River. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
