BLAUVELT, N.Y. -- George Arthur Morrison, of Blauvelt, died Sunday, Jan.10. He was 75.
Morrison was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 14-14B for 51 years. He received a bachelor's degree from Dominican College and a master's degree from Pace University.
He is survived by his wife, Roseanna, his son Michael, and his daughters, Diane Bryant and Jean Lennon and her husband, Don. In addition he is survived by his grandchildren Keegan, Patrick, Jaclyn, Amanda, Karly and James, and great-grandchildren Shayla and Clinton.
He is also survived by his brother, Robert Morrison and his wife Donna.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Catharine’s Church in Blauvelt followed by a private cremation.
Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan handled the arrangements.
