TAPPAN, N.Y. -- Eileen E. Downing, 84, of Tappan, died Monday, Sept. 19.
She worked at various facilities as a nurse’s aide after raising her children.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis J. Downing.
She is survived by her children, Ruthann Downing, Dennis B. and wife Donna and Christopher and wife Melanie; and grandchildren, Daniel, Dylan, Cecelia and Anna.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart RC Church, 120 Kings Highway, Tappan, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla. Visiting hours are from 5-9 p.m. Thursday at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave., Northvale.
