SPARKILL, N.Y. -- Abigail Flanagan, a resident of Sparkill, died Wednesday, Jan.13. She was 45.
Flanagan worked most recently at Columbia University Medical Center and at Neighborhood and Family/Acacia Network, as a Critical Care and Primary Care Nurse Practitioner respectively. She was a member of both the Nurse Practitioner Association and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Most recently, in 2015, she was awarded a Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from the Columbia University School of Nursing.
She is survived by her husband Dennis, two sons, Kevin and Patrick, her mother (Seeragee) Molly and brothers, David and Derrick Pascall.Calling hours were held at Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan. A Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Tappan. Her burial followed at Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill.
In memory of Abigial, her family requests donations be made to the Global Brigades.
