Uprooting Ends Garden Dispute At Valley Cottage Complex

VALLEY COTTAGE, N.Y. -- As children watched, corn and carrot plants were pulled out of a garden at the Mountainview Condominium Complex in Valley Cottage this week to end a dispute between the condo board and a resident regarding a garden project, according to News 12 Hudson Valley.

Police officers were on hand as the garden was cleared because Peggy Prisciotta, who planted it with her children as an Earth Day project, didn't get prior approval from the condo board, News 12 Hudson Valley said.

News 12 Hudson Valley said neither condo board officials nor their attorney have returned calls for comment.
