The event will be Sunday. All along Piermont Avenue, merchants will be selling items.
There will be singing carolers and the Christmas tree will be lit at M&T Bank, at the corner of Ash St., at 5 p.m.
Gift items will be sold by the Piermont Historical Society at Gerhardt’s, 505 Piermont Ave. All sales benefit the Historical Society. One of the items is a coffee table book by local artist and photographer Betsy Franco Feeney.
Accompanying the images is a brief history of the village. When Joe Campoli, former resident, received a copy, he said, “It is absolutely beautiful. I will cherish it forever. I would not trade my growing up in Piermont for anything. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of my childhood there.”
