The 3-acre property, on Ehradt Road near Townline Road owned by Ed Merritt, will be sold to a developer for almost a $1 million. The courts closed in 2014 as the tennis boom died and following the death of Merritt's father, said lohud.com.

Merritt, who grew up on the land and worked as a tennis teacher, told Lohud.com that there were regular players right until the end, added Lohud.com.
