Orangetown Drivers Should Expect Routes 303, 340 Detours

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- Drivers in the area of routes 303 and 340 will face detours through Sept. 1. 

A detour on Route 303 North near Route 340 is in effect until Sept. 1.

Northbound Route 303 traffic turning right onto Route 340 will be redirected to continue northbound to Kings Highway where drivers can turn right onto Kings Highway in Orangeburg. 

Additionally, the detour will re-direct southbound Route 303 traffic desiring to turn left onto Route 340. 

This southbound traffic will be directed to continue southbound to Kings Highway where drivers can turn left onto Kings Highway in Tappan. 

Detours are in effect 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday, except holidays.

This temporary detour was approved by the New York State Department of Transportation and this Department.
