An alert has been issued for 34-year-old Jonathan Carrow, who is wanted by state police for failing to answer charges in Haverstraw on a charge of criminal possession of a weapon following a traffic stop in Pearl River.
According to police, Carrow was arrested following that traffic stop, when he and another person were found to allegedly be in possession of stolen items from a local CVS and A&P valued at more than $1,000. Carrow then failed to return to court to answer the charges and a warrant was issued for his arrest from the Orangetown Town Court.
Police noted that Carrow is also wanted by the Chester Village Police Department and New York City Police Department for undisclosed charges.
Carrow is described by police as being 6-foot-1 and approximately 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should contact state police immediately by calling (845) 364-0200 or emailing CrimeTip@troopers.ny.gov.
