Rosie O'Donnell donated $150,000 toward a $500,000 fundraising goal for the headquarters, lohud.com reports.

The Rockland Pride Center will be an independent offshoot of the New City-based Volunteer Counseling Services that launched LGBTQ services in 1999, lohud.com reports.

The center would collaborate with other county organizations to provide services to the gay community, lohud.com reports.
