GoFundMe Campaign Helps Deceased Fireman's Family In Tappan

TAPPAN, N.Y. – A Go Fund Me account has been set up to help the family of the former chief of the Tappan Fire Department who died Thanksgiving morning.

The page has raised nearly $20,000 for the family of Lenny Sullivan. 

Sullivan, 50, a lifelong resident of Tappan, was also a master carpenter and a trained stationary engineer who was an active member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #68. Most recently, he worked as manager of facilities for the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University in Palisades.

Sullivan is survived by his wife, Barbara, and his three daughters Tara, Erin and Deirdre.

All funds raised will go directly to the family to assist them in any way they need.
