Amazon's 'Red Oaks' Films In Pearl River

PEARL RIVER, N.Y. -- If you're near Pearl River's Central Avenue on Tuesday, June 20, you may notice some commotion.

That's because Amazon's "Red Oaks," starring Craig Roberts, is filming there, according to On Location Vacations.

The comedy, shooting for its third and final season, revolves around a young student (Roberts) who works as a tennis pro at the prestigious Red Oaks Country Club in the 1980s. The show also stars Jennifer Grey.

Pearl River isn't the only Rockland "star" of late. Suffern had its turn last year for the filming of "The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected)" which recently premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. The movie stars Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson.
