Orangeburg Fire Department Holiday Parade Kicks Off Saturday

ORANGEBURG, N.Y. -- Santa Claus, Christmas lights and fire trucks. It's a recipe for a festive Saturday evening, but also one for charity.

The Orangeburg Fire Department will host its annual holiday parade on Saturday, collecting new, unwrapped toys for children in need.

The parade will feature numerous decorated fire trucks from departments across Rockland County. The parade will move through Orangeburg before ending at the firehouse on Dutch Hill Road, where Santa will take time to meet the public.

Anyone interested in marching in the parade, should visit the department's Facebook page. Registration forms can be found on the department's homepage.

Preparation for the parade begins at 1 p.m. Saturday at the firehouse. The parade kicks off at 6 p.m.
