Halloween Parade, Gala Fun Ways To Help Nyack Center

NYACK, N.Y. – A Halloween costume parade, kids costumed race, gala and holiday music and reading night are ways to have fun and help a children's charity in the coming weeks. 

The Nyack Center at 58 Depew Ave. has planned the following:

  • The Witch Way 5K and Kids Costume 1K (Boo Run) is set for Saturday, Oct. 24. For information or to register, visit http://www.raceawesome.com
  • A Monster Mash directly following the Nyack Halloween Parade is planned for Saturday, Oct. 25.
  • The 25 Anniversary Legacy Gala is at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14. Tickets are $95.
  • There will be a workshop, "Made by Hand," from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21.
  • On Sunday, Dec. 13, usher in the holidays with music and readings at 7 p.m.
The Nyack Center ‘s mission is to create connections across social, cultural and economic boundaries and to improve the life of all that live in Nyack.
