Piermont Historical Society is hosting its annual dinner dance.

The Papermill Speakeasy dance will be from 6-10 p.m with Tom and Bonnie Chapin as honorary chairpersons

Styled after a prohibition-era Speakeasy, flappers and their fellas will dance the Charleston and to music from the Old No. 7 Band. A video premier narrated by Grammy Award-winner Tom Chapin will feature interviews with individuals describing life "back in the day."

"Piermont's Factory Days" takes participants into the paper mill and shows the symbiotic relationship between the factory and the village.

Come dressed as a flapper (or casual chic) and support the work of the Piermont Historical Society to preserve the village’s rich history.

Cost is $99 per ticket ($109 after Feb. 28).

There will be a cocktail hour followed by full buffet dinner with unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks with a cash bar. Buy tickets by credit card by clicking here or mail a check made out to Piermont Historical Society, PO Box 362, Piermont, NY 10968.
