Verizon Wireless 'Smart Store' Opens At The Shops At Nanuet

NANUET, N.Y. -- County Executive Ed Day joined in the official ribbon cutting Thursday at the new Verizon Wireless “Smart Store” at The Shops at Nanuet, 110 Market St. East.

Additionally, the Center for Safety & Change, Rockland’s nonprofit organization dedicated to serving survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, was recognized as part of the HopeLine by Verizon program. 

Verizon Wireless presented a $10,000 check to support the center’s violence prevention programs. 

“Anytime a company like Verizon Wireless expands, the impact on the local economy will be significant," said Rockland County Executive Ed Day. "We're grateful for Verizon Wireless' retail presence here in Rockland County.”
