Firefighters battled an intense house fire in Dutchess County that required a second alarm and help from multiple departments. The blaze began in Wappingers Falls just after noon on Sunday, Jan. 4, when Hughsonville firefighters were dispatched to 218 Old Hopewell Rd. after an alarm sounded, the Hughsonville Fire Department said. Blaze Shuts Down Route 59 In Rockland County
A structure fire has forced the closure of a major stretch of Route 59 in Rockland County Tuesday afternoon, April 29, causing significant traffic disruptions, authorities announced.
