20-Year-Old Shot, Killed After Stabbing Person At Hudson Valley Home: Police A man was shot and killed after state police say he stabbed a person inside a home in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Saturday, Oct. 5 in the town of Pleasant Valley. Responding state police troopers and Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office deputies officers located one victim suffering from a stab wound and another the victim of gunfire at the residence on Rawls Road, located just west of the Taconic State Parkway. Fatal Crash: 32-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Hudson Valley A man has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash on a busy roadway in the region. It happened in Dutchess County at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, on Route 44 near Traver Road in Pleasant Valley. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, an initial investigation determined a 2023 Mercedes-Benz van was traveling eastbound when an electric scooter driven by Brandon Vogel, age 32, of Pleasant Valley, entered the roadway from the south shoulder and was struck. Hudson Valley Man Armed With Knife Holds Police At Bay For 5 Hours An attempt to serve an arrest warrant in the region led to a five-hour standoff with law enforcement. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at around 11 a.m. on Monday, July 1, on Route 44 in Pleasant Valley. According to Capt.
