Dealer Selling Near Entrance To Schools In Region Busted By Drug Task Force: Police An alleged drug dealer was busted at his home steps away from two schools selling fentanyl and crystal meth in the region. Dutchess County resident William Frenza, age 59, of Pawling, was charged on Wednesday, Nov. 6, during a warrant search of his home by the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force. According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the Task Force agents had been working on an investigation into the sale of methamphetamine, also known as “crystal meth,” fentanyl, and other dangerous drugs in the town of Pawling for a significant amount of time.  Harri…

Man Attempts To Set Fire To Deli With Customers, Employees Inside: Police A former deli employee in the region was nabbed for allegedly attempting to light a business on fire with employees and customers inside. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the Main Street Deli & Grocery at 390 Main St. in Beacon. According to Beacon Police Chief Thomas Figlia, after arriving on the scene, officers identified Westchester resident Shane Williams, age 39, of Peekskill, as the suspect. Man From Region Accused Of Sexually Abusing Young Child For Years A Hudson Valley man has been remanded to jail in connection with an ongoing sexual abuse investigation. Dutchess County resident Michael Tyndale, age 52, of Poughkeepsie, was charged on Thursday, Sept. 19, in Poughkeepsie. According to Poughkeepsie Police, Tyndale allegedly sexually abused a victim beginning at the age of 10 for four years. Tyndale was charged with predatory sexual assault and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail. The investigation continues. Man From Region Accused Of Smothering His 17-Year-Old Sister To Death A 32-year-old Hudson Valley man has been charged with allegedly smothering his sister to death at their home.  The Dutchess County District Attorney's office said the incident occurred on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2021, at 58 Harts Village Road in the village of Millbrook. Mark Dedaj, of the village of Millbrook, was charged on Tuesday, Sept. 17, with the murder of Maureen Nelson-Lanzi, said Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi.  Dedaj is charged with intentionally killing Nelson-Lanzo by smothering her to death in their residence, Parisi said. Hudson Valley Man Charged With Burglary Of Business A man from the region has been charged with the alleged burglary of a business that caused extensive damage. Dutchess County resident Konrad Gumper, age 46, of LaGrange, was arrested early Thursday, June 7, in connection with a burglary at Vale Fox Distillery on Noxon Road in LaGrange. According to Capt.
