A Hudson Valley bridge has reopened to traffic following replacement of the old structure. The Dutchess County Department of Public Works announced that the replacement of a bridge on Ridge Road in the town of Dover had been completed, and the structure had been opened to traffic. Traffic Alert: Bridge Replacement To Close Roadway In Region
Drivers should note that a section of a Sullivan County roadway will be closed for a bridge replacement. The replacement will occur in the town of Cochecton on County Road 115—Odell Road. The bridge is located immediately west of the intersection of Fred White Road with County Road 115, said Dan Hurst, spokesman for Sullivan County. This section of the roadway is scheduled to be closed to all traffic starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, and will remain closed for approximately three weeks. Travelers will be directed on a detour route using Fred White Road and Tyler Road.

Part of a well-traveled roadway in the Hudson Valley will close to traffic for several days as a railroad crossing is replaced. Expect Delays: Work Starts At Busy Hudson Valley Intersection
Traffic will likely be slowed at a busy intersection in the Hudson Valley as crews begin road work. The intersection of Seminary Hill Road and Church Street in the Putnam County town of Carmel will be held up by road work that began on Wednesday, July 24, according to the Carmel Highway Department.
