A school bus carrying nine elementary students overturned in Orange County on Monday morning, March 10, prompting a swift response from first responders and school officials. A raging house fire in Orange County left one man dead after flames rapidly engulfed his home, authorities said. The fire broke out on Friday, Feb. 28, at around 8:06 p.m. at a three-story home located at 649 Wheeler Rd. in the village of Florida, according to the Town of Warwick Police Department. A wildfire spreading in the region has prompted voluntary evacuations as state and local agencies in New York work to control the blaze in the Hudson Valley.
