Traffic Stop On I-287: Critical Con Edison Work To Pause Both Directions In Hudson Valley Motorists traveling on I-287 in Westchester County this weekend are being advised to expect delays as state police hold traffic in both directions for critical Con Edison work.  The 20-minute traffic stop will take place on the Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287) in the Town of Greenburgh at approximately 9 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, according to the New York State Thruway Authority.  The brief traffic stoppage will allow Con Edison crews to install a fiber optic cable above the highway between two towers on either side of the expressway. 4 Suspects Accused Of Leaving Supermarket In Hudson Valley With Over $1K In Stolen Items Four people were slapped with criminal charges after entering a Westchester supermarket with a child, filling their carts with merchandise, and leaving without trying to pay, police announced.  The arrests follow an incident on Saturday, Aug. 24 that happened at Wegmans in Harrison at 106 Corporate Park Dr., near the junction of I-684 and I-287, Harrison Police announced on Wednesday, Aug. 28.  According to the department, the four suspects and a child entered the supermarket, filled multiple shopping carts with products valued at over $1,000, and passed all of the store's cashier…

Hudson Valley Bridges Get $17.4M In Funding For Rehab In 3 Counties Three Hudson Valley bridges have received funding for rehabilitation in three counties. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Tuesday, June 25, that work is underway on a $17.4 million project to rehabilitate three highway bridges in the Hudson Valley, in Rockland, Westchester, and Orange counties.
