2 Brothers Sold Fentanyl Disguised As Oxy, Stockpiled Weapons In Spring Valley: Police
Two brothers will spend time in federal prison after a long-running investigation revealed they were selling fentanyl disguised as prescription pills while stockpiling firearms and ammunition in Rockland County, authorities announced.
Spring Valley residents Jonathan Alvarez, 29, and Edwin Alvarez, 30, were both convicted of possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking and sentenced on Thursday, Sept. 11, to five years in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release, the Spring Valley Police Department announced on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
