According to the Department of Health, the county is experiencing extremely dry conditions this fall, with little rain predicted in the long-term forecast. To stem the skyrocketing number of opioid overdoses and deaths, Rockland County has implemented a program in which first responders can provide Narcan to the public when responding to overdose calls.
