One person suffered severe injuries in a crash near an office park on Long Island. It happened around 7:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, in Lake Ronkonkoma. A 46-year-old man was walking southbound in front of 622 Hawkins Ave. when he was struck by a southbound 2016 Subaru Outback, according to Suffolk County Police. The pedestrian, a Lake Ronkonkoma resident, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of critical injuries. Ronkonkoma Man Accused Of Burglarizing 11 Suffolk County Businesses
A local man has been accused of burglarizing nearly a dozen Long Island businesses this month. The suspect broke into Deli Pupuseria Salvadoreña, located at 16 Dawn Drive in Centereach, stole at around 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, stole a cash register and fled, according to Suffolk County Police.
