Update: Woman Murdered At Water Mill Resort ID'd A woman’s death at a Long Island wellness center has turned into a murder investigation. Southampton Town Police responded to the hamlet of Water Mill’s Shou Sugi Ban House on Montauk Highway after a staff member found a guest dead in her room at around 12:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28. Coram Resident Intentionally Strikes Woman With Minivan In North Bellport, Police Say A Long Island resident has been accused of intentionally striking another woman with her vehicle. The incident happened around 3:40 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 in North Bellport. Following a dispute between the two in a parking lot, located at 1733 Montauk Highway, Philomena Mistretta, 51, of Coram, got into her 2004 Toyota Sienna and intentionally struck the woman with the minivan.  The 63-year-old was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue with serious injuries. The New York store, located on Long Island, will close on Sunday, Oct. 20, a store employee told NBC affiliate WJAR in Providence on Sunday, Sept. 22. The store is in Bridgehampton on Montauk Highway (Route 27). A smaller format store in Miami, Florida remains open, the report said. Duo Nabbed For Stealing Used Cooking Oil From 14 Long Island Businesses, Police Say Two Long Island men were nabbed for allegedly stealing used cooking oil from 14 businesses.  Oliver Lorenzo Valdez, age 30, of Central Islip, and Juan Hernandez, age 28, of Brentwood, were charged on Tuesday, June 25, after being spotted behind the Gourmet Garden in Center Moriches.
