Killer Sentenced For Broad-Daylight Stabbing Of Man In Riverhead Traffic Circle
A 20-year-old man will spend decades behind bars for fatally stabbing a man in a Long Island traffic circle in broad daylight. Gelber Lopez-Perez, of Riverhead, was sentenced to 22 years in prison in Suffolk County Court on Tuesday, Sept. 10, after pleading guilty to manslaughter in the death of 26-year-old Tony Fernando Alvarado-Ajcuc. A violent ex-convict formally confessed to shooting a woman to death inside her Long Island home on New Year’s Eve. Detrich Emanuel, age 31, who is homeless, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in Suffolk County Court on Tuesday, Aug. 20, in the killing of Kristine Costantino. Suffolk County Man Will Never Own Animal After Confessing He Beat Chihuahua To Death
A 22-year-old Long Island man will never be allowed to own an animal after confessing that he beat a dog to death. Peter Minichello, of West Islip, was sentenced to four months in jail followed by five years of probation in Suffolk County Court on Monday, Aug. 19.
