23-Year-Old Busted With Child Pornography In Milton Following Online Tip: Police
A Capital Region man was caught with sexually explicit images of children thanks to a cyber tip, police said. Alexander Floud, 23, was arrested following a multi-agency search of his Milton residence on Thursday, Feb. 6, New York State Police said. Troopers with the agency’s Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, along with the US Department of Homeland Security, uncovered images consistent with child sexual exploitation, police said. Pickup Driver Ejected, Killed In Collision With Tractor-Trailer On Charlton Highway
One person was killed following a crash involving a tractor-trailer on a Capital Region highway. The wreck happened in Saratoga County, on State Route 67 (Amsterdam Road) in Charlton, at around 12:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3. A tractor-trailer collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of West Line Road, ejecting the pickup driver, New York State Police said. Know Him? Police Searching For This Saratoga County Burglary Suspect
State Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly committed a burglary. The incident occurred in Saratoga County in October in Halfmoon. According to state police from Clifton Park, the man has a very distinct "518" tattoo on their right hand and a large tattoo on the right side of their neck. Fatal House Fire: 84-Year-Old Woman ID'd As Victim In Capital Region Blaze
Authorities have identified a woman who died in a house fire in the region. The Saratoga County incident happened in the town of Milton, at a residence on Greenwood Drive, at around 5 p.m. Saturday, July 27. Ballston Spa Fire officials said several agencies responded for a house that was on fire and possibly occupied. Once the flames were extinguished and firefighters got inside, they found the body of an 84-year-old woman. On Tuesday, July 30, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as Mary Lou Cotton, of Milton. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
