Man Wanted For Forcible Touching At Long Island Stop & Shop Police are working to identify a man accused of sexually assaulting someone at a Long Island Stop & Shop. The incident happened shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday, July 8, in Merrick at the Stop & Shop located near Merrick Avenue and Smith Street. Nassau County Police said the man forcibly touched the victim “in an inappropriate sexual manner.” No other details were given. Nassau County Police were called about a disturbance at the Planet Fitness in Merrick, located on Merrick Road, shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday, July 21. As they were arriving, Getho Brevette, of Merrick, drove away heading westbound on Merrick Road. Moments later, he crashed into another vehicle before leaving the scene and returning to Planet Fitness, police said. Burglary Spree: Teen Trio Nabbed For Long Island Incidents, Police Say A group of teen boys was arrested after police said they stole from the same Long Island business multiple times. The Merrick incident occurred on Sunday, June 16. Just after 10:30 p.m. that day, Nassau County Police responded to Merrick Bicycles, located at 1829 Merrick Avenue, for a reported burglary. When they arrived, authorities reportedly found and arrested three teens — ages 13, 14, and 17 — at the scene. The 13- and 17-year-old were allegedly discovered to be behind two additional burglaries, also at Merrick Bicycles, on May 24 and June 8. All three of the teens are charged…
