A husband and wife will avoid jail after admitting fault in a fire at their New York vacation rental that killed two sisters. Alert Issued For Missing 15-Year-Old Boy From Long Island
Authorities issued an alert for a missing teenager from Long Island. Zyiwarrey Smith, age 15, was last seen leaving his Baldwin home at around 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, according to Nassau County Police. He was reported missing that evening. Smith is 5-foot-9 and 150 pounds with short, black curly hair and brown eyes. He also has a nose piercing. The incident happened on the Southern State Parkway in West Hempstead, in the westbound lanes near exit 17, late Wednesday night, Oct. 30. Coast Guard Suspends Search For Possible Missing Kayaker Near Lloyd Neck
Search crews have suspended efforts to locate a potentially missing kayaker near Long Island. A boater contacted the US Coast Guard at around 12:40 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, after spotting an unmanned 15-foot kayak near the village Lloyd Harbor.
