Worker Airlifted Following Accident At Long Island Industrial Business An employee was hospitalized following an accident at a Long Island industrial business. Emergency crews in Inwood were called to the Inwood Material Terminal located on Sheridan Boulevard shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17. Nassau County Police said a preliminary investigation found that a 49-year-old man fell off the platform of an excavator and landed on the ground. Medics at the scene treated the victim for back trauma before he was flown to a hospital. The man was conscious and alert throughout the ordeal, police said. The accident is under investigation.

Seen Her? Alert Issued For Missing 30-Year-Old Long Island Woman Police are asking for help in locating a Long Island woman who was reported missing. Eva Kruslinski, age 30, was last seen in Huntington Station on East Jericho Turnpike at around 1:45 p.m. Monday, July 22. Suffolk County Police said she suffers from bipolar disorder and may be suicidal. Kruslinski was wearing a black tank top and shorts and may have traveled to the West Babylon area. Henderson Calderon Carranza was last seen on Tuesday, July 9 in Central Islip, according to the New York State Missing Persons Clearinghouse. On that day, the boy was spotted on East Elm Street at 11 a.m. and is believed to be with his father, Jose Calderon Arias, who authorities said may be suicidal. It happened around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22 in Miller Place, according to Suffolk County Police. An ambulance with its lights and sirens activated was traveling westbound on Route 25A when an eastbound 2008 Subaru Forester, driven attempted to make a left turn onto Parkside Avenue and collided with the ambulance. Emergency crews in Albany County were called at around 8:15 a.m. Monday, June 17, for a small plane that was seen "spinning around" before crashing in Colonie, near Albany Shaker and Maxwell roads. The scene is in a wooded area just south of Albany International Airport.  Crews arrived to find the plane fully engulfed in flames.
