A licensed child therapist from Long Island is accused of sharing videos of child sex abuse, with some victims as young as toddlers. Renee Hoberman, age 36, of Plainview, was arraigned on charges of distributing child pornography in Central Islip federal court on Wednesday, Oct. 23. Threats of a breakup prompted a Long Island woman to slash her boyfriend with a knife, sending him to the hospital, police said. A convicted sex offender is accused of harassing an underage girl outside a Long Island convenience store. The incident happened in Patchogue, at the 7-Eleven store located near Montauk Highway and Bay Avenue, at around 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11.
