2 Firefighters Injured In Jericho House Fire: Nassau County Officials
A house fire in Jericho caused significant damage and left two firefighters injured late Wednesday, Dec. 25, Nassau County police said. The blaze broke out at a home on Vista Drive at 10:21 p.m., prompting a response from the Jericho Fire Department and several other area fire departments, according to detectives from the Arson Bomb Squad. 2 Firefighters Injured After Blaze Breaks Out At Long Island Home
A house fire on Long Island left two firefighters injured. The blaze broke out at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, in Woodmere at a home on Mosher Avenue. Responders arrived to find flames emanating from the rear of the residence. All occupants were evacuated safely, while multiple fire departments, led by the Woodmere Fire Department, worked to extinguish the blaze. The two injured firefighters declined medical treatment.
