NJ Teen Mom Left Baby In Getaway Car During Botched NY Vehicle Theft, Police Say A New Jersey woman and a teenage boy were caught attempting to steal a running vehicle in Hewlett while an infant sat in their getaway car, police said. Officers responded to a home on Seawane Road around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, after a resident saw an unknown male inside his running vehicle, Nassau County police said. When confronted, the suspect fled in a white Hyundai driven by an unknown female. The arrest occurred in Ulster County on Tuesday, Oct. 22, in the town of Lloyd. 16-Year-Old Girl From Region Stabbed By Boyfriend, Police Say A 16-year-old girl is recovering after allegedly being stabbed by her boyfriend during a fight. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Saturday, Aug. 17, at 31 Eliza St., in Beacon. According to Beacon Police Chief Thomas Figlia, officers found the teen bleeding when they responded to a call for a woman who had been stabbed.
