A suspected armed robber accused of targeting a Capital Region convenience store was busted thanks in part to video evidence, police said.
Luke White, 23, of Duanesburg, was arrested on suspicion of robbery and related charges on Monday, Jan. 27, in connection with a hold-up at the Sunoco station on Broadway in Colonie two days earlier.
Donning a mask and brandishing an imitation handgun, White entered the convenience store and demanded cash from the register at around 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, Colonie Police said.

Lucas Healey, 43, of Albany, was found guilty of robbery and assault following a three-day trial in Albany Supreme Court on Monday, Jan. 27.

Schoharie County residents James R. Parker, age 26, and Nicole Zielinski, age 50, both of Cobleskill, were charged on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
According to New York State Police Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, an investigation determined Zielinski and Parker were being transported by a taxi in Schenectady when Parker allegedly held the driver at knifepoint against their will.

Rensselaer County resident William Camino, of Troy, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in Rensselaer County Court on Wednesday, Aug. 28, a month after pleading guilty to first-degree robbery.
According to prosecutors, Camino and two others – Katrina Carroll, age 24, and Terry Adams, age 18, both of Troy – used the dating app Tinder to lure a man into an alleyway near Congress and Cypress streets in Troy at around 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18.
