Suspect Apprehended After Troopers Find Him Sleeping With Stolen Goods In Schodack: Police Troopers found a man sleeping in a wooded area with stolen goods following a break-in at a business in the region. State Police in Rensselaer County responded to the incident early Wednesday, Nov. 6, after reports of a past burglary at a business on Maple Hill Road in the town of Schodack. Nicholas T. Layman, age 29, of the town of Nassau, allegedly forced entry into the business around 4:30 a.m., damaging the door and taking items before leaving, said police.
