Suspect Hid Extra Narcotics In His Body After I-87 Traffic Stop: Police
Two people carrying a large amount of illegal narcotics through New York were arrested on I-87 through the Capital Region on Tuesday, May 12, state police said.
Jahlil Lincoln, 32, and Mercedes Simon Fulmore, 20, were pulled over for a traffic violation on the highway around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday while driving through Wilton, New York State Police said. Lincoln was driving and Simon Fulmore was the passenger, according to authorities.
As troopers investigated the incident, they discovered “felony weight” narcotics in the vehicle, according to authorities.

Orange County Man Nabbed On I-87 For Possession Of Felony-Weight Narcotics: Police
A traffic stop on I-87 in Albany led to the arrest of a Walden man for possession of felony-weight narcotics, the New York State Police reported.
According to Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, the incident occurred on Monday, Jan. 13, around 10:2o a.m., when troopers stopped a vehicle for multiple violations.
The driver, identified as Orange County resident Ibo E. Boone, age 37, of Walden, was found to have a significant quantity of controlled substances, O'Neil said.

Man In Region Admits To Assault, Drug Possession
A man in the region is headed for prison after pleading guilty to a felony charge of attempted assault and possession of narcotics.
Dutchess County resident Rakim Paulin, age 43, of Beacon, pleaded on Thursday, Nov. 14, according to the Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi.
"The defendant's involvement in both a violent assault and the illegal drug trade shows a clear disregard for the law and the lives of others, Parisi said.
