Animal Hospital Sets Up Memorial For Vet With 'Rockstar Smile' After Double Murder-Suicide A memorial has been set up outside a New Jersey animal hospital for Lauren Semanchik, a veterinarian who was fatally shot in a double murder-suicide in Washington Township over the weekend. Semanchik, 33, was killed along with her new boyfriend, 29-year-old firefighter Tyler Webb, by her ex-boyfriend Ricardo Santos, a New Jersey State Police trooper, authorities said. Services Announced For HS Coach Killed In NY Taconic Parkway Crash Family and friends will gather next week to say goodbye to Robert “Rob” Violante, a beloved New Jersey high school coach and educator from Westchester County who was tragically killed in a fatal crash on the Taconic State Parkway in New York.  Violante, age 45, of the hamlet of Granite Springs in Somers, was driving home from work on Wednesday, May 14, when his vehicle was struck head-on by a van that crossed the median near mile marker 9.2 in New Castle, as previously reported by Daily Voice. Drag Racer Killed In Crash At Capital Region Speedway Condolences are flooding in after a driver was killed during a drag racing event in the region. The Columbia County incident happened at the Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon at around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, July 7. New York State Police said William Janke, age 57, was participating in the National Hot Rod Association’s (NHRA) Lucas Oil Divisional Series when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a barrier.
