An 8-month-pregnant woman opened fire outside a Massachusetts hotel, wounded an innocent bystander, crashed her vehicle into the building, and then took her own life during a violent early morning incident, according to police.
The violence unfolded around 12:55 a.m. Thursday, June 18, at the Sturbridge Plaza Hotel on Haynes Street in Sturbridge, prompting a large response from local and state police.

A 54-year-old New Jersey man was killed in a late-night snowmobile crash in New York Friday night, Feb. 20, according to State Police.
Troopers responded to the crash at approximately 11:10 p.m., on a trail about one-half mile behind 253 County Road 111 in Caroga Lake, State Police said.
Stephen J. Banks, 54, of Cream Ridge (Freehold), NJ, was operating a snowmobile when it failed to negotiate a curve in the trail and struck a tree, according to the preliminary investigation.
