Stranger Broke Into Motel, Raped Woman Next To Child In Greene County, Police Say
A 59-year-old man is accused of breaking into a Greene County cabin and sexually assaulting a sleeping woman while a child was present.
The incident happened around 12:45 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at Rainbow Cabins on State Route 32 in the town of Catskill, according to New York State Police.
Danny Fuller, of Catskill, illegally entered a cabin where a 48-year-old woman was asleep in bed and sexually assaulted her, police said. She woke up, a brief struggle followed, and Fuller fled to his nearby home.

Two Tractor-Trailers Collide, Overturning In Catskill Thruway: NY State Police (Photos)
Two tractor-trailers collided on the New York State Thruway in Catskill early Monday morning, Aug. 11, overturning one of the rigs, state police announced.
The crash happened in the northbound lanes between Exits 20 and 21 around 4:45 a.m., according to the New York State Police.
Investigators said a 2024 Peterbilt driven by Andnet Yitna Kirubel, 28, of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, was traveling north in the left lane when he tried to merge right and struck the rear of a 2018 Freightliner. The Freightliner was driven by 56-year-old Jorge Montes De Oca of Miami, Florida.

CR Child Sex Offender Had Explicit Images Of Kids, Including Infants: Police
A convicted child sex offender in the Hudson Valley is facing a new felony charge after being caught with disturbing images of children on his phone, police said.
Matthew Maurer, 38, of Catskill, was re-arrested Tuesday, June 10, following a months-long New York State Police investigation into reported materials depicting child sexual exploitation.

Woman Admits To Threatening Resident From Capital Region In Racially Charged Facebook Messages
A woman has pleaded guilty to sending racially motivated death threats to a man in New York.
Kristin Keeble, age 54, of Pageland, South Carolina, admitted to transmitting threats to injure another person across state lines, according to the US Attorney's Office of the Northern District of New York.
Keeble sent four profanity-laced, racially derogatory audio messages through Facebook Messenger on Oct. 26, 2023 to a Greene County man who resides in the village of Catskill.
