59-Year-Old Man Accused Of Stealing Campaign Signs In Region A man faces charges after allegedly stealing political campaign signs from a residence in the region, authorities announced.  Putnam County resident Lucas Gonze, age 59, of of Cold Spring, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 17 following an incident in Philipstown, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Monday, Oct. 21.  According to authorities, on Thursday at around 3:20 p.m., a resident in the area of Route 9D near Mandalay Drive saw someone take campaign signs. Hudson Valley Man Charged With Rape Of Teenager, Police Say A 41-year-old man has been charged with rape and sexual abuse of a teen in the region. Ulster County resident Stephen E. Alvarez Jr., of Milton, was charged Tuesday, July 30, by the town of Hyde Park Police for the incident, which was reported on Friday, April 26.
