Man From Region Nabbed For Attempted Murder In Stabbing Incident, A person residing in the region was nabbed for alleged attempted murder in a stabbing incident that seriously wounded another man. The attack occurred in Dutchess County at 1 a.m. Sunday, June 30, in the area of Smith and Mansion Streets in Poughkeepsie. According to the Poughkeepsie Police, on Thursday, Oct. 17, members of the Neighborhood Recovery Unit, Detective Bureau, and Patrol Division located and arrested Rushaan Francis, age 27, of Poughkeepsie, in connection with the June 30 stabbing.  Police said the 44-year-old victim was located suffering from multiple stab-slash wounds.&…

Man Fleeing Troopers Hit By State Police Car In Region New York State Police are investigating a vehicle/pedestrian crash in which a wanted man was struck by an unmarked state police car. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 5 p.m., Thursday, on Cannon Street in the city of Poughkeepsie. According to State Police, an unmarked state police vehicle was traveling westbound on Cannon Street, attempting to locate Conrad J. Bailey, a fugitive from justice from Fulton County and the City of Gloversville. Bailey was found on foot in the area of Main Street in the city of Poughkeepsie.
