A man faces charges after allegedly stealing political campaign signs from a residence in the region, authorities announced. Putnam County resident Lucas Gonze, age 59, of of Cold Spring, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 17 following an incident in Philipstown, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Monday, Oct. 21. According to authorities, on Thursday at around 3:20 p.m., a resident in the area of Route 9D near Mandalay Drive saw someone take campaign signs. John Gotti Jr.’s wife and daughter will avoid criminal charges in connection with a fight at a youth basketball game on Long Island. Man Busted In Broom Handle Attack During Incident In Region
A man was charged with allegedly assaulting a woman with a broom handle and his fist, causing a head injury, during a domestic dispute in the region. Ulster County resident Harry J. Krom, age 42, of Kerhonkson, was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 25, on Two Path Road in Wawarsing. An investigation alleges that Krom repeatedly struck a 45-year-old woman with a broom handle and closed fist. Pop superstar Justin Timberlake took time out of his European tour to face a New York judge in his alleged drunk driving case on Long Island. The former NSYNC frontman pleaded not guilty to one count of driving while intoxicated during a virtual appearance before Sag Harbor Village Justice Court on Friday morning, Aug. 2. Capital Region Woman Accused Of Stalking
A resident from the region has been accused of stalking. New York State Police in Columbia County from the Livingston barracks say an investigation determined Tara Tomlin, age 29, of Elizaville, contacted the past and current employer of the victim to make false allegations of drug use and inappropriate behavior. On Tuesday, June 25, Tomlin was charged with: Aggravated harassment in the second degree, Stalking in the fourth degree. Tomlin was arraigned before the city of Hudson Court and released on her own recognizance to reappear on Tuesday, July 2.
