Missing 16-Year-Old Girl May Be With 'Male Companion' In Capital Region: Police
Authorities are asking for help in locating a missing 16-year-old girl from the Capital Region. Albany County resident Allene Wells, of Bethlehem, was last seen on Tuesday, Feb. 25, according to the New York State Missing Persons Clearinghouse. Wells was wearing a green windbreaker, black sweatpants, black and white shoes, and carrying a black tote bag. She has red streaks in her hair and two nose piercings. Reckless Driver Nabbed Through Use Of Tire Deflation Device In Capital Region, Police Say
A Capital Region man allegedly driving recklessly was nabbed with more than two kilos of cocaine after he failed to stop for police and sped away before being apprehended with the use of stop sticks. The incident occurred in Albany at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 28, on I-87. According to New York State Police Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, troopers attempted to stop Nashaan A. Capital Region Teen Nabbed For Rape
A 19-year-old Capital Region teen has been charged with the alleged rape of a victim who was "incapable" of consent. The incident occurred in Schenectady County in Princetown in August. According to New York State Police Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, on Sept. 11, troopers arrested Albany County resident Jack Jimenez, age 19, of Glenmont, a hamlet in the town of Bethlehem, for rape. O'Neil said troopers received the report of a past sexual assault. 36-Year-Old Walking On Thruway Struck, Killed In Capital Region
Authorities have identified a man who was struck and killed while walking on a major highway in the region. The Albany County incident happened at around 2 a.m. Sunday, June 30, on I-87 in Bethlehem. New York State Police said 36-year-old James Gibson Jr., of West Coxsackie, was walking in the right southbound lane near Exit 23 when he was struck by a car. More than a month after a beloved wife and mother was killed in a head-on highway crash in the region, the man allegedly responsible has been arrested. In Albany County, Bethlehem Police arrested Saratoga County resident Matthew Monthie, age 28, of Clifton Park on Friday, June 7, on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and related charges in the death of Shawna Marzahl.
