It happened around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, in Central Islip. A 38-year-old Medford man was operating a 2015 Honda motorcycle westbound on Suffolk Avenue when the vehicle collided with a 2019 Honda CRV that was turning from Suffolk Avenue to northbound Sycamore Lane. The motorcycle then collided with a 2020 Lexus that was stopped in the southbound lane of Sycamore Lane. Fatal Chain-Reaction Long Island Expressway Crash: Woman ID'd As Victim In Suffolk County One person was killed and another seriously injured in a chain-reaction crash on the Long Island Expressway. It happened just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, in Yaphank. A 65-year-old man from Bay Shore was riding a 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound near Exit 68, according to Suffolk County Police. Arlin Aguilera, age 37, of West Hempstead, was found guilty of aggravated vehicular homicide and related charges by a Nassau County jury on Wednesday, Aug. 21, in the death of Liel Namdar.
